The story centers around one night in Derek and Aaron's lives. Aaron, unbeknown to Derek, is murdered in a hit and run after stealing from the wrong person. Derek, unaware of Aaron's fate is alone, wandering through the night ending his aimless meandering at a music gig held in a basement where he meets a stranger that he is connected to, coincidentally, in a horrible and ironic way.
