Diamond is one of the few and far-between who believes that making friends with the creature will tame it, and that friendship is only a fist bump away, to the uproar of their fellow employees at hardware store: "Jim's 2x4's & More!" Big James Jr, only son of Big James Sr, who was an avid fighter of the Obsidian Deer, along with Big Ricky and Big Denise bully Diamond into infinity until the Obsidian Deer's intervention, after-which the trio become homies for life and move in together.
