Prime suspect is sheep breeder Gunnar Appelros, who refused to sell but invokes an alibi. Anders, and his best friend Alfred Palmgren, who met Gunnar probably last. Alfred, whose construction and development business partner Hans Malmsted is most anxious, is later found down a cliff, but drowned in a land pool after he and his wife Rebecca rowed with Jasmine Larsson, Gunnars ex, who left the island eight years ago, pregnant.
