These are the stories of children who never had a choice and were forced to witness life-changing events, war, tragedy, loss, injury, and chaos, since they first opened their eyes to this world. These children have lost parts of their lives which can never be regained. One child, lost his older brother during the recent war in Artsakh, Missing in Action (MIA). Another child witnessed his father almost die; and they all wake up and look out their windows, into the enemy's eyes across the border, every single day. We all imagine war differently as adults, but have you ever listened to a child talk about war? Here are heart-wrenching stories of war and peace, through the eyes of children.
