Marianne gets a visit from her father but only to ask her to stay away from his retirement party as he is ashamed of her sex change from a man. Gavin comforts her and she repays the favour by giving him an alibi when he was really having sex with thuggish Meatball's girlfriend. Becky is taken hostage in a tanning salon by her married lover's wife and released with panda eyes whilst Sue's birth mother arrives at the salon,requiring reconciliation with her adopted mother Val.
