As he fixes the clock, he begins to hear classical music emanating from behind a door. His curiosity gets the better of him, and he ventures to discover himself in an auditorium, Megan rehearsing for her next recital. He becomes infatuated with not only the performance but Megan as well, losing track of time. He is however soon faced with a dilemma - after the performance and an attempt to communicate with her results in him discovering that the broken clock from the beginning belongs to her, he must grapple with the decision of whether the clock should run out, or whether he will pay the ultimate price for love.
