But Dickie has locked himself in his room with his friend, guitarist Dan. When Alex discovers them, they're in a sorry state, completely drugged out. Alex, at a loss for words, calls in Paul Jannequin, the brother of Dickie's doctor, Roger Jannequin. Father Paul, who runs a sect called "Les Enfants du Bonheur", agrees to send his choir to Dickie's rescue. The boys will help with security, and the girls will support the fans. The fans, led by Pauline, are furious at the intrusion of these newcomers. A performance takes place in the arena of a town in the south of France. All goes well. But during the dinner organized by Simon Véry, CEO of the record company, to discuss Dickie's new image, a tragedy occurs.
