Carsten Heinrich assumes it was an accident and quickly transfers the case to the police. The victim, Tim Drache, happens to be the owner of another e-scooter rental business. The police consider this too many coincidences, and they investigate the death. Who had a motive to kill the businessman? His former business partner Fred Unbehauen, with whom he was at odds and whose girlfriend he had stolen? Or environmental activist Olaf Horst, who is already known for his questionable protests? Meanwhile, Chief Kruppka has entirely different problems. Klara wants to join the water police permanently after her internship. Klara's father, the police chief, doesn't like this at all.
