When looking for it, he gets sucked through a portal in the dryer, through a mystical space, and into the cloud room of Laurent Morguet, the inventor of the sock puppet. Laurent teaches Kevin that when you die you get a room and a wish, which can be on anything but must come from earth. Realizing his mother is nearby, Kevin demands to see her. Back on earth, a social worker visits Kevin's aunt and uncle. They search the house but find him nowhere. So where's Kevin? He's in his mother's cloud room, fulfilling her wish to be with him.
