The film culminates in the spectacular burning of a full scale model of a World War 2 radar tower, all set to specially composed ska music. The performers, volunteers from the local community, are a re imagining of the Tilbury Trojans, a skinhead gang of the late 1960s notorious for their 'hardness', linking an episode of local English history with Homer's epic tale of the battle between the Greeks and the Trojans. Must the contemporary boy who opens and closes the film also become the victim of such conflict? Written by Anonymous See less
