David admits to guest Eve Cusack that he almost wept for his late wife Gig when he saw Ted and Dee-Dee's wedding cake, but a sympathetic Eve reassures him that he'll find love again one day. Erica Brandt arrives with happy news: Faye approves of her and Stefan working together, so Erica will be joining him, David, and Ted at the new clinic. Attorney Harold Cranston informs David and Erica that Gig's money has been released for appropriation, and David makes everyone happy when he elects to name the project after her, The Geraldine Houseman Memorial Clinic. Ted rips his pants on the way to the wedding, placing him in an embarrassing but humorous situation at the Malone house. Before the wedding, Tracey and Dee-Dee share a quiet moment together, and Dee-Dee thanks the Malones for helping her to break free of Clare's grasp and to realize that nothing is more important than love.
