Additionally, his studies led to the finding of a new hormone that represents one of the most import advances in understanding problems arising from excess weight and obesity and the potential treatment of type II diabetes. In this mini-documentary, Ronald Evans elaborates on his research and tells about his personal connection with science. Evans was awarded an honorary doctorate in recognition of his exceptional contributions to the academic world.
