No one knows if he has a family or where his loved ones are. Psychotherapist Sokratov is accused of the Butcher's crimes. Detective Zaprudin discovers irrefutable evidence of guilt. But Dubrovsky does not believe the evidence and follows the trail of the real killer. He finds a mistake in the psychic Kopchik and exposes the Butcher. However, he still fails to catch the killer.
