Jake is still trying to move on from AJ, his former boyfriend, who was the reason Jake came to Sydney in the first place. Meanwhile, AJ has already moved on and is seeing different people, although he sees Saxon as a potential long-term partner. Saxon wanted AJ to get tested for HIV so they could go without protection, but AJ is hesitant, raising doubts for Saxon. In the meantime, Wilma discovers Micky's whereabouts; he is now a 'rent boy'. Upon learning this, Jake and Millie, along with Wilma, plan to bring Micky to their apartment without revealing their identities. Initially, Jake and Millie are hesitant about this plan. When the time comes, Wilma slaps Micky for stealing her laptop and then invites him into the apartment. However, upon seeing everyone, Micky runs away, and Millie goes after him.
