He tells her about a plan announced by the National Recovery Administration (NRA) where Americans' working hours will be divided so that their jobs will be shared by the unemployed. Maggie thinks this is a good idea, and Ole is glad because as he brings in a strange blonde (Esther Muir) as he reveals that she'll be sharing Maggie's job as wife.
