The press is even speculating about extraterrestrial perpetrators. Two unsuspecting visitors to the meadows are shocked to find architect Anton Hölzl lying dead by the roadside. He has been bludgeoned to death, as forensic scientist Dr. Hartmann determines. Sophia and Jerry quickly realize that Hölzl, who became a conspiracy theorist during the pandemic, had many enemies. Even his own wife, Anne, had given up hope of a return to a normal relationship just four weeks earlier. Hölzl's brother, Mathias, is backed into a corner at their shared architecture firm. Anton had scared away clients. His children, Benny and Lissy, have very different feelings towards their uncle. Benny, in particular, greatly admired Anton. For local politician Laurenz Deubner, on the other hand, the dead activist was an obstacle to his bid to become district administrator. The two detectives' investigation is overshadowed by Jerry's suspicion that Sophia had severely damaged the official car. While Franzi and Max are lost in their own world, dancing kizomba at the police station, Beissl is preoccupied with the mysterious tattoo on Eva's ankle. Is his daughter perhaps polyamorous? At least she finds the key to deciphering the Wiesenkreis message in the attic with Johanna's help. This gives the search for the perpetrator a new direction. Written by ARD Das Erste See less
