Joanne, his wife (Sandra Hunt), is concerned with his fitful sleep and distraught condition. With good reason. What Joanne doesn't know, nor the police, and scarcely Erik, is that he leads a double life-a busy lawyer, yes, but also a sex psychopath who stalks the streets in search of new victims-always young, beautiful girls. Posing as a magazine photographer, he promises the pretty models he encounters big money for posing for his camera. Luring them to a modest Hollywood apartment filled with erotic curios, or taking them "on location" into the lonely woods, he rapes and strangles them. Erik "makes the scene" at beauty pageants, Hippie love-ins, wife-swapping orgies, but is somehow always strangely adrift, ignored by others. The authorities have dubbed the unknown slayer, "The Model Killer". Detectives have virtually no clues, until the father of one of the slain girls, Walter Winstead (Doodles Weaver), a Midwest plumbing contractor, arrives in town. To the dismay of the police, he begins a strange manhunt all his own. Written by 1968 Pressbook Summary See less
