They rush to her aid, and despite Luna's resistance, she ends up in the emergency room. Dr. Ben Ahlbeck joins his residents as quickly as he can. Together with Tamar, he tries to convince Luna to make a deal: if she stays overnight at Johannes Thal Hospital for urgent tests, they will help her find her boyfriend, who has been missing for a month. Desperate and longing, Luna agrees, and Olli begins the search for René. But while the residents work together to protect Luna's mental and physical well-being, they make a dramatic discovery. Dr. Matteo Moreau is quite surprised when biologist Dr. Filipa Jelen suddenly appears before him. Although Filipa's injury falls squarely within Matteo's area of expertise, he tries to wriggle out of the situation and clumsily passes the patient on to Dr. Marc Lindner. Dr. Lindner senses something amiss and, during Filipa's treatment, learns more about the reason for his colleague's unusual behavior much to Matteo's dismay. Now Marc knows something he shouldn't. Karin needs access to Matteo's research lab for a complicated heart surgery on a patient. Although Matteo would prefer to keep it to himself, Karin is determined not to be intimidated.
