Alan is worried that Celia will leave him for Dan but she not only stays when Dan leaves but proposes to Alan, who is about to open the café in the evenings. Desperate to repay Iwan Luke gets work with an escort agency, his first client being the reassuring Hazel. Unfortunately she wants them to go to Alan's café, where he pretends she is buying a car from him. Mr Honey turns up with Stella but they are both nervous and agree to remain friends. Next day the village turns out to welcome Aunty Brenda home from hospital. Paula bags off with Mr Honey but due to a misunderstanding Michael thinks he is after Stella and makes a fool of himself whilst Stella learns the truth about Luke's new job.
