She is also pleased, but with reservations, that Michael has got the London post. As the wedding day dawns Rob returns to save Luke financially and all of Pontyberry turn out for the nuptials - which, due to a few legal irregularities, almost do not take place. However quick thinking by Michael saves the day and Rob tells Stella she should not let a good man go. As a result they are back together again with him promising to visit every weekend. The café may have to go on the market but to round off a happy day the villagers club together to pay for the wedding.
