But Mai follows old tradition that Tita being younger daughter in the house she should not get married and has to look after her old parents and wants Rose the eldest daughter to marry Pedro.In order to continue his relationship with Tita,Pedro marries Rose and they start living in the same house. But on wedding day Tita's world comes crashing down when Nacha passes away.Pedro and Tita still continue to be in love but later he reciprocate his feelings for Rose and they have a baby boy Roberto.Tita starts spending time with Rose's Dr John Coelho which makes Pedro jealous and he reminds her that tradition wont let her marry him.Mai notices Pedro's closeness towards Tita and asks Pedro and Rose to shift to his house.Margarita's life becomes more difficult as Roberto passes away whom she took care as her own child and Pedro still cant get over her.
