Dan is very optimistic that he will get it. Paul brings home a Christmas tree for his mother Mady and they both decorate it. While visiting Theo in the hospital Liz shows Matt and Paul the check she received from her father for Christmas. Liz tells them she would like it to be a gift to pay off the hospital bills for Theo. Theo is thrilled to see Matt, Liz and Paul, but not happy to find out that he will be staying in the hospital for two more months.
