Hubert isn't thrilled to find out that the drunk turns out to be his old classmate, Günter Ammann. He had hoped never to see his classmate again - just like the rest of his classmates. However, when Staller finds the body of his former classmate Hanna Bommer in the trunk of Amann's car, Hubert and Staller have no choice but to arrest Ammann. He, however, protests his innocence. He claimed to have been at a class reunion the night before and, thanks to the alcohol, had a blackout. He didn't pick up his car until the next morning - underestimating the amount of alcohol left in his blood. He also doesn't know how the dead woman got into the trunk of the car. According to Dr. Anja Licht, she was strangled. Hubert and Staller begin investigating among the attendees of the evening party. A nightmare for Hubert, who, despite deliberately staying away from the class reunion, is now confronted with his old classmates. Especially with their curiosity about his private life. And his relationship with the murdered woman's husband, car dealer Ludwig Bommer, was already strained during his school days. From him, Hubert and Staller learn that his marriage to the former class queen has since broken down. The trigger for the breakup appears to be the highly successful plastic surgeon Dr. Fritz Bähr, with whom the deceased had also had a few blemishes removed. The evidence against Ammann is becoming increasingly overwhelming. Written by ARD Das Erste See less
