Victoria, a lonely college freshman, goes a little too far when she brings a corpse to life without anticipating the consequences. This Creature wanders her way to Victoria's hometown and, needless to say, has serious trouble fitting in. Victoria rushes home after a tragic accident and begins a frantic hunt for the Creature. Victoria's childhood friends become entangled in her perilous quest, and the curious Creature leads others to learn that there is an overwhelming amount of beauty in the world which we fail to fully appreciate every day.
