Alan in particular blames Mason for taking her out of hospital and Tori tells him the Ellises have filed a complaint with the university; Mason says he wants to give up medicine anyway. Coco returns home and even though Ben and Maggie try to hide Ziggy's absence from her, she leaves her a message asking her to come home. VJ fields a call from Mick at the beach house and realises it wasn't from the facility; Irene learns he has been released. While VJ and Ash work on getting out an AVO and sorting out Luc's adoption, Irene gets contacted by Mick's case worker, Pete Sands, and learns he has been beaten up at the halfway house.
