He died instantly. Detective Finn Kiesewetter and his team suspect a repeat offender and warn the people of Lübeck. Was Uwe Riedel simply in the wrong place at the wrong time? Or is there more to it? The dead man's wife doesn't believe it was a coincidence. But who was trying to kill Uwe Riedel? Pathologist Dr. Strahl provides a crucial clue: Before his death, the gardener not only met a woman but also enjoyed a top-quality bouillabaisse. The investigators visit the "Kombüse" restaurant, not far from the scene of the accident. Chef Martin Quade and his kitchen boy Marcel Franke have an alibi, and the "Kombüse" is closed on Mondays. But there's also Anke Maas, Quade's girlfriend. The next day, she shows up at the police station, distraught, and admits to having had an affair with Uwe Riedel. Did Quade possibly act out of jealousy? A strong motive. Finn and Lars arrive at the "galley" with an arrest warrant for Quade, when they are met by the agitated kitchen boy Marcel. Quade threatens his girlfriend. Written by ARD Das Erste See less
