The pilot features some cast members who did not continue with the series, e.g., Nancy Kulp as 'Penny McCoy' was replaced by Marie Wilson, and Joe Besser as 'Coach' was replaced by Alan Reed. Also, Herb Jeffries' character was renamed 'Freight Train.' This pilot film was finished with an updated audio track, and aired as "The Ramblin' Wreck' on July 15, 1970.See less
