Hiding for a clingy date, womanizing impresario Lars meets them and offers to arrange a meeting with his client, evergreen singer Elsa, who would be ideal for Sören's marketing video plans, but she convinces Saga to 'escape' to her ancestral country home. Their father Gunnar, a recluse since his wife's death, thus meets his old flame again. Lars seeks to return Elsa, and in the process he and Saga surprisingly fall in love. Misunderstanding further mess up local doctor Matt's troubled love affair with Saga's confident, motel keeper Ida.
