He decides to break up with Zhao Ning and take care of Xia Yan, but she will not accept this. Danni attacks Shuya. Xiping drags Danni away and is stabbed. Leshan appears and takes Danni away. Shuya follows them to a construction site and is knocked out. Shuya wakes up and finds herself in an empty house. Leshan coaxes Danni to kill her. Shuya hears Danni saying she has already killed Xiping. Leshan flares up at Danni, who goes berserk and kills him before running off. Xiping survives the critical stage. Shuya stays by him and reads the love letters he had written to her in the past. Shuya and the others help to arrange Leshan's funeral. Xia Yan leaves without a word. Xiping visits Danni's father and learns Danni had become mentally unstable because of her first marriage. Her mother had given false statements in court after accepting money from Yacai.
