Overview
Dr. Casmar is a clinician providing care for veterans across the spectrum of mental health disorders. She has targeted interests in trauma, meditation/mindfulness, and mood disorders. She enjoys teaching IPT (Interpersonal Therapy), evidence based approaches to trauma and integrated therapy approaches using CBCT (cognitively based compassion training) and other meditatively focused interventions. She is considered the LGBT specialist at the Oceanside VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic.
