Overview
Dr. Ramachandran completed medical school at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal in Karnataka, India. After an internship at MetroWest Medical Center Framingham, Massachusetts, Dr. Ramachandran completed her radiology residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital and the University of Miami, where she also served as chief resident. She started at UCSF as a neuroradiology fellow in 2020 after which she spent a year as a clinical instructor in neuroradiology.
During her clinical instructor year, Dr. Ramachandran focused on pediatric neuroimaging with an interest in fetal MRI and pediatric tumor imaging. She also has a keen interest in ER and trauma and emergency imaging. Dr. Ramachandran contributes regularly to radiology QA/QI, including optimizing imaging protocols and standardizing reporting templates. Dr. Ramachandran's research interests are in musculoskeletal imaging and pediatric neuroimaging.
