Overview
I am a Certified Nurse-Midwife who has practiced midwifery in the U.S. and Malawi in a variety of birth settings. I am the Midwifery Advisor for the UCSF Global Action in Nursing, a global nursing workforce project with sites in Malawi, Liberia and Sierra Leone. I am the former Director of Midwifery for this project, which is now led by expert in-country midwives. I am also an Assistant Clinical Professor (without salary) at UCSF School of Nursing.
