The use of methods to objectify the specific activities of athletes in training and competitions ... more The use of methods to objectify the specific activities of athletes in training and competitions is not a problem studied to its true extent in wrestling. Measuring and evaluating the predictability components of competitive performance in this sport is even more important given the fact that in free and Greco-roman wrestling the elaboration of models has never been easy, due to the unquantifiable performance that performers have to achieve. Therefore, the issue is the most important field of research in the current stage in sports wrestling, before becoming an operational tool available to practitioners. The transformation of these components into figures allows obtaining results that can define the weight and impact they have in creating training and competitive models, selection models, planning, control and evaluation of the efficiency of training methods and especially the establishment of a battery of tests, usually validated by the method of factor analysis, to support period...

Therefore the efficiency and importance of physical training are mandatory. The training modeling in alpine skiing gathers significant data on physiological, mechanical and psychological indices, becoming one of the most important sports principles. Maximizing the potential of an athlete depends on the systematic planning of the training process. Through model-based training, the coach directs and organizes training lessons so that the objectives, methods, and content are similar to a competition. In alpine skiing, the strength must be developed, either explosively or dosed, under equilibrium conditions, within 1-2 minutes. In this sense, the use of the power-endurance method (P-E) for the development of strength in alpine skiing lays the foundations for a good physical training specific to either technical races or speed races. The aim of the research is to identify the most effective methods for developing specific strength in alpine skiing. Thus, during the trainings, the power-endurance method was implemented. The evaluation case study took place between June and October 2020, with the participation of 3 athletes, members of the national alpine skiing team. They were measured and evaluated using the Optojump system, by applying the test "60 sec Plyometric jump", in the training period (initial and final testing). Through this test the anaerobic power of the athletes was evaluated. The obtained results highlighted the efficiency of the method in their physical training, following that they will be correlated with the results from the future sports competitions.

Through this study we aim to orientate the didactic process in the Physical Education and Sports lesson towards the specific of the engineering field. We consider it necessary to evaluate the students' simple reaction time, since this type of reaction is one of the dominant skills in this field. Consequently, we have to determine the students' current skills level, and depending on the results obtained, we will implement the operational motor structures specific to Physical Education and Sports to optimize the students' professional skills. The qualitative exploratory research aimed at identifying the reaction time to visual stimuli according to the dominant and non-dominant structure, by comparing the data obtained between genders. The number of subjects involved in the project was of 44 students (22...

A good pedaling technique will always be supported by adequate physical training. Road cycling overloads the aerobic system. The anaerobic energy system is used by cyclists at the end of the race or during the ascent. Thus, junior cyclists must be prepared to make a prolonged effort over long distances and pedaling should generate rotations that maintain speed and power according to the environment and the terrain. The purpose of this paper is to implement and carry out a physical training program that will lead to the acceleration of the evolution of pedaling power in junior cyclists. It is considered that the use of specific means for winter training, taking into account age-specific somato-functional features, will lead to increased pedaling power of junior cyclists. A strength training program for road cycling requires the use of some means with a load that reflects the endurance that the athlete must overcome in competitive conditions. The experiment took place between 2019-2020, on a sample of 16 cadet cyclists. To measure the effects of the variables, progress was monitored using Garmin technology. The target indicators were ,,power expressed in watts"(P), ,,power/kg body weight, expressed in watts/kg" and heart rate. The obtained results show that the means of force development had a positive effect on the pedaling power of cadet cyclists.

As the speed increases, the centrifugal force is higher, and the skier will activate a control of the pressure of the external ski, giving him the possibility of steering the bypass. The plantar pressure exerted by the skier during the turns steering becomes extremely important, being a determining factor in improving the control over the edges. The purpose of the research is to identify the main mistakes during the turn and to make the preparation more efficient by identifying the ideal route. The constatative research is a descriptive case study that used a single subject, a member of the national group of alpine skiing. The research was conducted during the preparatory period (November, 2018), in Austria, totaling 14 training days, respectively 56 hours training. The evaluation was carr...
