K M Sancier. Altern Ther Health Med. 1996 Jan.
Abstract
This article reviews selected studies of medical applications of Chinese qigong. The review centers on clinical and experimental studies to show that qigong exercise can beneficially affect many functions of the body and improve health. The studies, some conducted in depth, were selected to illustrate that medical applications of qigong are diverse and that many applications could improve Western healthcare.
