The quantitative approach is used for this study. Data is collected through the online survey method, where 312 teleworkers of the telecommunication sector respond to the questionnaire. The collected information is tested using SPSS and AMOS by using confirmative factor analysis and structural equation modelling. This study's findings show that teleworking had a significant impact on the IRP and ERP of employees. Time cultures also had a significant moderating impact on the relationship between teleworking and In-role performance and employees' extra-role performance. In contrast, HCC vs LCC had an insignificant moderating impact on the relationship between teleworking and IRP of the employees, and it significantly influences the ERP of employees. This research has been conducted only in the telecommunication sector of Pakistan. Furthermore, this research focused only on two dimensions of Hall's cultural model; future research can use the national cultural model's other dimensions. This study gives several insights into how employees and organizations can be encouraged to work from home according to the organisation's standards. It also enables the organization to motivate employees to EERP while working from home.

In this regard, time series data on annual basis has been collected for the period 1985-2010 and an Augmented Dickey-Fuller (ADF) and Phillips-Perron (PP) unit root tests are utilized to determine the stationarity of the variables. An autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) bounds testing approach to co-integration was applied as all the variables in the model are first level stationary, e.g. I(1). The empirical findings of this study confirm the long run relationship among the variables. However, market size and human capital have strong positive and significant impactin short-and long-runfor attracting FDI but exchange rate shows negative impact in this regard. The coefficient ECM is negative and significant, which means that it converges towards equilibrium. CUSUM and CUSUMSQ tests were utilized to test the model's stability and the plots of each test did not cross the lines of critical value, which indicates the stability of the estimated parameters and this model can be used by Pakistan in policy and decision making. For achieving higher economic growth and economies of scale, the

The empirical research on the valuation effect of derivative on firm still remains debated. This study seeks to investigate the valuation effect of derivative usage on Pakistani non-financial firms listed in Karachi Stock Exchange. The empirical analysis was performed by using the data of 75 non-financial firms listed in Karachi Stock Exchange over the period 2007-2011. This study uses secondary data derived from financial statement of the selected firms and quantitative approach was applied in this regard. Firstly, the non-parametric test – Mann-Whitney U (MWU) test – was used to differentiate the dynamics of derivatives users and non-users. However, Pearson correlation matrix was applied to estimate the model whose results were checked through ordinary least square (OLS) model. Tobin’s q was used as a proxy of the market value of the firm and foreign exchange and interest rate derivatives are used as independent variable along with some control variables, namely; size, leverage, profitability and dividend per share. The results of Mann-Whitney U test characterize derivative user firms as large size, higher profitability and higher dividend which ultimately become the cause and ingredients of high firm’s value. Hence the empirical findings of this paper concluded that the derivative usage has value relevance with firms and it was considered as a value maximizing activity. We found that foreign exchange and interest rate derivatives are significantly and positively related to the firm value. The bottom line of this study states that the firm’s which uses derivative instruments, enjoys the higher profitability, proper risk management and economies of scale which ultimately leads towards the maximization of market value. However, interest rate and foreign exchange derivatives play their key role in this regard. This study contributes in the following manner: first, it gives better impending and understanding for decision making about diversification strategy in Pakistan and pin point the relationship between diversification, corporate performance and risk. This study gave a bottom line that the non-diversified firms performs outperform the diversified firms and hence got economies of scale as compared to the diversified firms and secondly it fills the gap of above said core issue which through its empirical examination.

It was extensively studied how the identified factors impact the entrepreneurial abilities of women in Pakistan. Synthesis of previous literature was done to find out the factors that highly impact the growth of SMEs owned by women in Pakistan, later, the ISM model was obtained and applied to these factors, to find out the extent and nature of impacts. Not only the considered issue is of great importance, but also the implemented methodology bears great importance in the field of research, as it is being considered by researchers extensively. ISM technique has helped in identifying ranks and importance of the factors that significantly impact the growth of SMEs, studying these rank-wise results, women in Pakistan can minimize the level of issues and obstacles that come along on the way of the business ventures. Moreover, women in Pakistan can benefit from the positive factors to trigger the growth of the SMEs. Many factors were discovered that significantly impact the growth of SMEs owned by women in Pakistan, finding these factors have not only enhanced the literary importance of this study but the practical importance of the study has been enhanced as well. As, the inhibiting factors can be significantly minimized by enhancing the promoting factors.

Like other countries, Pakistan is also confronted with covid-19 calamities. The aim of the study is to examine the impacts of workplace measures (WM) on the job performance (JP) and covid-19 fears (CF) along with the moderating role of academic competence (AC) based on the organizational support theory (OST) and job demand and resources (JDR) theory. A quantitative approach was applied to collect data from 333 banking employees in Gujranwala (Pakistan), and the hypothesis were tested via structural equation modeling using SPSS and AMOS. The study findings indicate that workplace measures significantly affect covid-19 fears except for individual preventive measures (IPM). Similarly, workplace measures significantly impact on job performance apart from information about the pandemic (IAP). Moreover, academic competence insignificantly moderates between workplace measures and covid-19 fears, but a significant moderation is found between information about pandemic (IAP) and covid-19 fears. Meanwhile, academic competence significantly moderates between workplace measures and job performance instead of a relationship between information about pandemic and job performance. However, this study was limited only to the banking sector of Pakistan. So, it will open the doors for future researchers to investigate other cultural contexts and sectors. This research gives a holistic understanding of workplace measures and contributes to the body of knowledge by enlightening the moderating role of academic competence in the banking sector of Pakistan. These useful insights would enable practitioners and policy makers to develop more efficient strategies and workplace measures to enhance job performance and reduce the fears of covid-19 among employees.

Three econometric models, viz. Augmented Dickey-Fuller (ADF) test, Engle-Granger two-step co-integration test, Vector error correction mechanism (VECM) have been used. This study also used Granger Causality (GC) to find the directional relationship between FDI and GDP. The results suggest that there is no co-integration between FDI and GDP in the both long and short run in Bangladesh and India. However, we find the co-integration between them in the both short and long run in Pakistan. Conversely, GC results suggest that there is no causality relationship between GDP and FDI for Bangladesh and one way or unidirectional relationship found for Pakistan and India, which means FDI caused economic output in Pakistan.
