[**Tags**|bean, dolls and friends, dolly ramblings]My 'poor' Xan (withered). She's my test pullip. If I need to size something for type 1's, I grab her. If I want to take a pullip out with me, but there's a high chance of something going wrong. I take her. If something happened she'd be the easiest to replace and I'm less sentimentally attached to her. Anyways I picked up some of that Elfdoll wig spray from Dolls and Friends. And wanted to try it on something before putting it on anything expensive. So I grabbed Xan (poor poor Xan^^) and it's so far amazing. Her hair looks SO much better. I'll have to take pictures later. How did I live with out this stuff before? So I grabbed Darby (Squall) next. I had to take her hair out of the pig tails and almost snapped her neck several times trying to brush that massive head of hair. It was so ratty that it pissed me off. So I grabbed my scissors and chopped off an inch. I feel some what bad about that. I don't like that I cut her stock hair. But it was really bad and now it's easier to handle. I'm going to check it again today when I get home from work hoping that looking at it on a new day will verify that what I did was right. I also used that spray on my Bree (FT Blythe)and she looks great now. Speaking of Dolls and Friends, Bean got an education on the differences of boys and girls. We were looking in the glass case and there was a nude male doll, holding a flower over his dangly bits. But bean could see it from her angel. She calls me over and points at it with a quiet 'Look....' LOL. So I told her that boys and girls are different, and boys have outties and girls have innies and that's how they pee. She asked something else, I can't remember and I tried to throw R under the bus to answer the question and he dodged it back to me. Tricky Daddy. She understood that boys and girls were different....but she didn't really understand how it was different until she saw that resin willy. |
