The results will be obtained through the three phases of the study: digital reading profile and digital reading behavior survey, reading comprehension tests, and focus group discussion. The findings of the study show that the participants read more academic resources online or offline as opposed to the results from the qualitative data in which it shows that they preferred Wattpad, also respondents tend to use cellphone in reading digital materials. Based on the comparison made, the result shows no significant relationship. From the findings, due to its portability, cellphone is the commonly used device and Wattpad is the most commonly read digital reading material. It can be concluded that digital reading has no effect on the reading brain of the students. Based on the conclusions, it is suggested that through the inevitable emergence of technology, proper utilization and the collaboration of parents and teacher is vital to promote genuine love for reading.

It is the primary causa of any progress in all sectors like science and technology, humanities, social sciences, education and business. The Philippines as a literate and research driven nation is now over powered by its neighboring nation in terms of research and development: production, presentation and publication/utilization/commercialization. The results show that teachers in the basic education level are identified as beginners or limited in terms of their research profile such as years of experience in research production, presentation and publication; and number of produced, presented, published, and work/s cited. However, in general, the respondents' demographic and research profiles are found to be no relevance with research skills and techniques, research management and knowledge of research management. Based on the results of the study, it is suggested that the school managers must design and implement capacity/capability building programs/initiatives to improve the status of research and development in the basic education sector.

With them, the nation is able to produce and develop learners, who may lead the country to development and progress. Enhancing teachers' quality and upholding quality teaching standards, therefore, should be given utmost importance for the long term and sustainable nation building. In the case of the Philippines, teachers' competence is assessed through Philippine Professional Standards for Teachers (PPST), a new framework that was adopted from its former paradigm, National Competency-Based Teacher Standards (NCBTS) through DepEd Order no. 42, s. 2017. This paper investigates the teaching competence of 160 teachers from Southern Luzon in the light of the tenets of PPST. Through the descriptive and quantitative method of data gathering, a researcher-made questionnaire following the Likert Scale was employed to collate the respondents' lived experiences relative to the seven domains of PPST. The investigation revealed that most of them assessed themselves as highly proficient in managing the learning environment and proficient only in coping up with learners' diversity. Hence, there is an identified gap in terms of the teachers' needs to improve learners' diversity management. Through the domains of the PPST, in sum, they considered themselves as proficient only. As a result, continued personal and institutional efforts are highly recommended to help teachers improve their competence in the profession and eventually the community at large.

It used Descriptive Method in Quantitative-Qualitative Approach. A writing test was used in this study. These were written using two styles such as: Free Writing Style and Guided Writing Style, and were checked by the three (3) seasoned English teachers. The findings revealed that the only teaching writing method used in the classroom is the combination of Process and Genre Methods; composition writing competency of the PUP Laboratory High School seniors in all writing styles in terms of: Content, Thesis Statement, Organization, and Language Use and Editing are rated Very Good to Good. The researcher concluded that the compositions still need substantiation, well-defined introduction and conclusion, and zero error in mechanics and grammar though such are rated Good to Very Good.

Theories and principles are also identified as philosophies and these must be put into practice. Otherwise, they will only serve as something relevant for library purposes. Hence, philosophies must be for and emerge from experience. Thus, this study relates to the character of the present educational philosophies in the status-quo and attempts to answer questions through document analysis. The specific questions are: at present, what are the emerging educational philosophies; how do these philosophies operate in every classroom; and what are the significant features of the educational philosophies. Moreover, the study suggested some varied but justified recommendations on the role of the educational philosophies for teachers and learners' development.

This picture is happening from the basic education level to tertiary level and sometimes even in the graduate level. This is a generic description of public schools or state universities in the Philippines. It is also expected that the classroom environment is heterogeneous. Also, the researcher used both the quantitative and qualitative methods of research. He interviewed high school teachers and asked them to answer a checklist which was decoded and tabulated. The study concluded that the following prevent students' aggression in the classroom: strict implementation of rules and regulations, familiarization of the homeroom rules, consideration to the students' individual differences, teacher's punctuality and patience, motivation and reinforcement, and mastery of the subject. However, the following actions escalate students' aggression: teacher's unresponsiveness, numerous tasks, unmonitored classroom, corporal punishment, and unclear statements. Moreover, the following are the behaviors and actions that were observed in the classroom that may lead to aggression: social isolation, bullying, derogatory comments, verbal abuse, threats, theft, gossip and angry outburst to name a few.

It addresses the concept of necessity, beneficiality and practicability of being with a University that, more than requiring its community to investigate, is building a culture of knowledge autopsy and generation. Hence, the following questions will be asked: 1. What is the research profile of the respondents in terms of: 1. Years of research experience (production/publication/advisorship); 2. Number of produced/published/advised researches (full paper/action researches); and 3. Number of paper presentations (local/national/international). 2. How do the respondents demonstrate expertise in the following:
