Title: the night does funny thingsAuthor: empressearwigPairing/Fandom: Sports Night/The Good Wife crossover; Dan Rydell/Natalie Hurley, past Will Gardner/Natalie HurleySpoilers: All aired episodes of both shows.Rating: PG-13Word Count: ~6000Disclaimer: I own nothing, this is all for fun. This hasn't happened. Yet. Etc.Summary: The one where Dan and Natalie get married and Dan meets his identical twin. Sequel to (You) I Thought I Knew YouAuthor's Notes: So. This was not my idea. The blame for this, and thus the credit, can be placed squarely on the shoulders of torigates and normative_jean. I guess I'm sort of grateful. Title comes from the Tom Waits song "I Hope That I Don't Fall in Love With You", which I listened to approximately a billion times while writing. Please don't ask me to explain my brain. But if you want a soundtrack for this story, that's what you should be listening to.[the night does funny things]

Title: (You) I Thought I Knew YouAuthor: empressearwigPairing/Fandom: Will Gardner/Natalie Hurley; Sports Night/The Good Wife crossoverSpoilers: All aired episodes for both shows.Rating: RWord Count: 8709Disclaimer: I most decidedly do not own either show, and this didn't actually happen, much as I wish it might have.Summary: The one where Natalie and Will date in college.Author's Notes: To say that I wrote this for torigates because she asked nicely would be a lie. I wrote it for her because she nagged. Also, thanks to normative_jean for fixing my mistakes, even she attempted to make that come with strings attached. Finally, title is from R.E.M.'s Nightswimming, which I listened to at least 100 times while writing.[(You) I Thought I Knew You]

From "Kafelnikov"_Those stories plus, Luciano Pavarotti stuns the track world by running the 100 meters in six seconds. My mother hits for the cycle. And Martina Hingis sings selections from No, No, Nanette._I absolutely loved that fake open from Dan when Jeremy was doing his Y2K test... Anyway, I bring this up to mark the passing of Luciano Pavarotti.
