UPDATE
After some helpful comments, I have adjusted her eye and hair color. Specifically, the eyes are less bright green and the hair is more bright red. Comparison view here [link]

This is Melinda. She is the first of two OCs I plan to use regularly. She is role playing a maid.

Here is her basic info (subject to change without prior notifictation)

Name: Melinda
Race: Neko, cat-girl
Age: 19 years
Height: 5' 4", 162.5 cm (not counting her ears)
Weight: 130 lb, 59 kg
Profession: Waitress at mid-price family restaurant.
Hair: red, down to her shoulder blades, usually worn loose
Ear and tail fur: red, the same as her hair
Eyes: Green with vertical slit pupils (like a cat's eyes)
Tail: about as thick as her wrist and as long as her arm from shoulder to wrist.
Figure: curvy human proportions with C-cup bust.
Personality: She is playful, curious, and a bit naive. This can get her into trouble by biting off more than she can chew. She likes to role play and try new things. She is easily startled and scared by sudden changes. She wants everything clean, but thinks that it is too much trouble to keep stuff organized and tidy.
Clothing: She prefers to wear shorter skirts and dresses to accommodate her tail.
Jewelry: Always wears her favorite gold choker with a heart pendant.

This deviation's background is more complicated than most I have done. First, I drew a simple room for Melinda to be in. Then I figured that a maid with a duster should have something to dust. The amethyst crystal looked like something valuable that the Master or Mistress of the house would want well tended. Then I needed something to set the crystal on. Then the wall behind her looked rather bare...

The "picture" on the wall is Raven from Teen Titans. It is a drawing I did several months ago but didn't post in my Gallery. I based the drawing rather heavily on two other deviations, one for the head and one for the body. I thought my drawing was too much of a copy to be a "new" work. But, if I tack it on the wall inside one of my original works...
