Governments, the major food companies, global retailers and the industry per. se. consider the ad... more Governments, the major food companies, global retailers and the industry per. se. consider the adoption of HACCP in the supply chain beyond the farm gate, to be the most appropriate way of identifying, reducing, managing and communication risks associated with food. In contrast, there is little evidence, or apparent support for, the application of HACCP in primary production, even though there are significant risks and ample evidence of continuing food safety breakdowns.
