Fisher Communications will revert Oldies 570 KVI Seattle to Talk a little over one year after making the change.
The new format, branded as “Smart Talk 570” will feature lifestyle and entertainment talk directed at a 35-64 audience. Mornings will be billed as “Sunrise Seattle” hosted by current afternoon host Mark Christopher and sister KOMO-TV’s Elisa Jaffe in what the station is promoting as a Good Morning America type show. The remainder of the lineup will feature a local afternoon program “The Buzz with Scott Carty” as well as syndicated hosts Clark Howard and Phil Hendrie. The new format will debut on January 2.
The changes will begin on Thanksgiving when the station will shift from Oldies to Christmas Music.
