Pamal Broadcasting is hiring a talented and creative Producer to join one of Hudson Valley’s longtime local morning shows. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in the production of the morning show, and will also be responsible for creating content. This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively, and a passion for radio. The Producer will be responsible for screening calls, securing guests, daily promos, social media posts and creating website content. Additional duties may include writing and delivering morning newscasts for the right candidate.
Approximately 25 hours a week Monday through Friday. NexGen and news experience are a big plus.
Duties:
- Develop and manage production of the morning show.
- Collaborate with other team members to create compelling content that meets project goals.
- Communicate effectively with team members and external partners to facilitate smooth workflows and address any issues that arise during production.
- Ensure all content adheres to all standards and ethical guidelines while maintaining audience engagement.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail throughout the production process.
Qualifications:
- Strong writing skills with a background in journalism or related fields is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and communicate ideas clearly.
- A passion for storytelling through radio.
- NexGen and news experience is a plus.
