They both displayed in their title sufficient empirical evidence of their field-based knowledge, exposure, and expertise in the area of social, political, theological, and Bible-based thoughts and recommendations refugees, migrants, and the stateless. The core emphasis of the title was bringing forth the much-needed Biblical and theological response to a long-overdue question of refugees, migrants and the stateless around the world, particularly as it bothers on faith-based global response and action to the burning issue in such an engaging and thought infuriating look at the global issue of refugees. The book did not just address the issues from the biblical and theological worldview of the mandate to care for displaced peoples and missiological principles for working with refugees, it also addressed the pain and frustration involved in meeting the humanitarian and legal needs of those with the loss of " the sense of belonging" in the complex multi-dimensional new "Jerusalem of existence". The author proposed necessary relief, repatriation, and settlement initiatives essential to help those in need from the standpoint of the "Theology of Place". The 116 paged Strangers in the Kingdom has two parts for ease of understanding and communication. Part I deals with the Foundations for Ministries to the Displaced while setting out foundational basics introducing the topic and then providing a very thorough explanation of the terminology and international agreements related to this issue. This section alone and the clear delineation of terms makes this an important book to read. After providing this important background information, the authors went ahead to explore the biblical, theological, and missiological foundations for ministry in a manner consistent with well-researched and documented writing. The authors also presented passionately fascinating illustrations that help understand better the topics. The endnote like questions meant to assist readers reflection of discussed issues or discuss help readers to move beyond a solely intellectual approach to the topic to consider the practical application of the information. Part II which focused on Ministries to Refugees, Migrants, and the Stateless takes the theoretical information and provides ministry based case studies of assemblies and individuals in selected nations and geographical locals like Canada, Middle East, and some European countries engaged with this issue under discussion. The non-global north worldview provided by the authors and the examples given are most enlightening and remind readers that the refugee crisis is truly a global issue that demands a global response.

In view of this serious situation and the great diversity in contemporary views regarding the divorce and remarriage, the question arises: What does Jesus teach about Divorce and Remarriage? In this paper an attempt is made to answer this question by means of a Biblical exegesis of Matthew 19:3-9, taking the context of Jesus’ teachings into consideration, such as the positions of the Jewish schools of Shammai and Hillel regarding the issue of divorce. Special attention is given to the following aspects of Jesus’ teaching on marriage, divorce and remarriage: (1) Jesus’ reference to Genesis 2:24 as God’s original intention for marriage; (2) An analysis off the Greek words used by Jesus in Matthew 19:9 regarding the grounds for divorce: porneia (sexual immorality) and the consequences of divorce, when remarriage is involved: moichao (adultery); (3) Jesus’ usage of the exception clause, by which He allows divorce under special circumstances, as a concession, because of the hardness of their hearts; and (4) Jesus teaches that, if either of the two parties were to remarry after divorce, it would be considered as adultery.

They were all divinely chosen, creative, successful in ministry and administration, and finally, developers of others. However, their accomplishments, except for Daniel, were irrecoverably marred by the core missing link between ministerial success and excellence (perfection). This title exposed the fact that churches, organizations and seminaries need more than having to raise committed and resourceful persons. This title emphasized the relevance of Excellence driven character based leadership. The book is lucid, biblical, reconstructive and transformational in all its content and purpose.

formulation of the Trinity, came as a response to those who questioned the deity of Jesus. For this reason, it became imperative for the church to articulate the teaching of the Bible concerning Jesus' function within the godhead. Without at least a cursory knowledge of its history, one cannot fully understand the importance of clearly and deliberately promoting a Trinitarian Christology. The author of Historical Theology: An Introduction to Christian Doctrine. defines his approach as "diachronic essentialist," meaning he takes a doctrine and follows it through periods of the church, noting the continuity of core truths.
