The Zippin Pippin used the trains and much of the mechanical hardware of the former Thunder Eagle roller coaster from Race World in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

The Bay Beach Zippin Pippin was built nearly identical to the original Zippin Pippin at Libertyland in Memphis, Tennessee. The Libertyland ride was known as being Elvis Presley's favorite ride.
