Weston super Mare has a reputation for being shit, but I think it's actually ok. It's here: which is in Somerset in England, in the Uk, in the world, in the universe.
Most people will tell you that the best thing about Weston is you can get to Bristol easily. It's kind of true.
Weston is a faded Victorian seaside resort which is constantly trying to decide what to do with this:
The Tropicana- which needless to say doesn't look much like that anymore.
And this;
Birnbeck Pier which doesn't look like that anymore either
they are also always trying to decide if they should turn this:
into luxury appartments or not.
It's important to know about these things if you consider moving to Weston because it's the only thing that ever gets mentioned in the local newspaper.
My favourite things in Weston are these:
The animals on the pier. I loved them so much I made this 
pieranimals the PIER is still a wonderland of treasures where you can eat allsorts of nasty sugary things and put all your two pences in a machine.
I am also in love with the beach:
It has the second largest tidal range in the world, which is why people always ask you if you ever see the sea in weston- I am ususally a smartarse and tell them it comes in twice a day generally...
