Reason TV Best of 2014: Strippers v. the Supreme Court! (original) (raw)

The theater company Elevator Repair Service produced the wonderful and quirky musical Arguendo, based on the 1991 Supreme Court case Barnes v. Glen Theatre. At issue in the case: Could the government require erotic dancers to wear pasties and g-strings?
It was a real treat to speak with Arquendo's director John Collins about the legal nuances of the case and the artistic process combining oral arguments and live theater.
And did I mention strippers?!
