Hey ya'll i'm Amber im new here so I thought i'd post a little bout me! I get it a lot that im a hick by the way i act and talk lol I'm a farm girl =) like to go 4-wheelin, mudding, riding my dirtbikes and 4wheelers, tractor pulling, rodeos, cowboys (so hot) partying all that fun stuff. LOVE big trucks... the bigger the better they are!!! I drive a 2000 Chevy z71 Black Ext Cab with a 6inch suspension lift, 35 Mud Terrain tires, dual exhaust... I <3 it more then anything haha AND soon within the next week or two im adding 3 or 4 more inches and bigger tires to it also I got an 85 chevy thats a workin progress too! I just thought I'd do a little intro post, possibly so you guys can kick me out (but please, please don't).Anyways, I'm Amanda, I'm 29 and whilst I'm not from the South, hell, I'm not even from the USA (I'm from the little island called England) but I hope you don't hold that against me. If I had the chance to up sticks and move, trust me, I would do, maybe in a few years from now. For now though, I live six miles away from Oxford and a whole world away from London, I liked the cities for a while, but my heart is in the country, with it's small pubs, folk and country festivals and nothing to wake you in the morning but the chickens and cows. That accompanied with my slight love of horses and my idealised view of cowboys and pretty much anything that involves getting muddy!! So, am I in with a chance, do I make honorary redneck? Looking forward to getting to know some of you girls, this whole Livejournal thing is fairly new to me but it would be nice to make some friends here. (6 Comments |Comment on this) |

Heeeeey Girls... I don't know if I posted this already... in update on my truck, the pile is STILL broken. I thought I had a drive shaft finally but come to find out... it's taco'ed. That really sucks, let me tell ya! I have to get mine back... which might be hard since this guy won't return my calls... and then my buddy Sam is going to cut the spline shaft off this new one and weld that and the other end onto my tube. Thus, creating a perfect driveshaft... in theory, of course.Hopefully it will work out. I will at least post some pics of Lucille for you all very soon. I just have to get around to it... *sigh*. I'm so lazy lately with that stuff! Hope you all had a wonderful fourth of July!!! I did... the fireworks here were just awesome. I am also looking forward to the end of the Cherry Fest here... should hold some great fireworks as well.Anyway... lets try and get this community up and running girls!! No more joining to fill up our friend lists... lets post and get active!! As co-mod, I am suggesting we create a stamping system... in this system we would weed out the active and inactive members. Inactive members will be weeded out every month... so, if accepted, ONE post would be neccesary EACH MONTH for you to remain a member of our community. I seen this method used in another community, Jess... it might be neat to try out if we can figure it out! The more active members we have, the better our community will be!! We can then participate in contests or whatever else we devise!! SO lets post post POST and get active! Gary Allan I have a question...Has anyone heard of these CD's that came out in May of 2005, called "Pickin' On...(so and so)". I am particularly interested in one titled "Pickin' On Gary Allan: A Bluegrass Tribute". I think Gary Allan has such a unique voice. I couldn't see anyone singing his songs, but I am interested in who sings on the album. I know there are various artists, but every site that I go to, only lists the songs that are sung, not which artists sing them. Can anyone help me find this info? Thanks.
