This is a community for displaying and sharing icons of a retro or vintage nature. Here, retro refers to anything pre-1970 be it movie stars, pin-ups, Bettie Page, vintage porn (soft), etc. I don't really care for hippie/60's stuff, but early 60's lounge-culture etc. rocks. And I will except stuff like Shag or current movies that are of a vintage or retro era like Moulin Rouge, anything of the victorian era or WWII etc. Just post it and I'll let you know if it's relevant or not...in a nice way I promise! I hate mean moderators.
Rules:
1.Please remember to use the lj-cut tag for posts containing more than one or two icons. This is the one thing that will aggrivate me. If you forget this more than twice, you will be asked to leave the community.
The cut tag looks like this:
[lj-cut text="YOUR TEXT HERE"] (use <> instead of [])
2. Please do not claim icons you acquire here as your own. Icon makers spend hours on these and take alot of pride in them. So give them credit! And giving praise is always welcome!!! ;)
3. Please only post in relevence to icons. No quizes, surveys, etc.

Again, this is a community for icon makers to share their new graphical wares. If you are searching for help you will find thaticon_tutorials is a very helpful place to go. - Posts including random pictures
Pleae do not do this. retro_icons is somewhere for people to post there finished icons for sharing. If you have come accross some pictures you would like to share with others (please check their ownership first) there are plenty of Retro communities where you can post pics. A whole list of them can be found here. Just check the individual user info first to see whether they wil be welcome there.
4. Artists may make their own rules in regards to sharing and customizing. Please respect these! And ALWAYS leave a comment if you take an icon.
5. Play nice!!! No rudeness will be tolerated!!!
