If any new members have joined and not yet introduced themselves please do so soon. In an effort to keep this community rollin', I have a "theme" for ya guys/gals. So the theme is "My Town". Show us your fave hangouts, your school, your buddies, your kooky neighbor(?), whatever you want be creative and have fun! (This is a kinda general theme I thought would help people get to know each other.)** |

| OK, ladies, I really need your help! I am graduating this semester and I have a Senior art show that I have to put up in two months. I have to have 30 new paintings along with 5 new sculptures, ahhh! I usually set up appointments with models for photo-shoots and do the hair, make-up poses, etc, in order to get reference material for my paintings, but because I have only a short time to produce the paintings I am in a bit of a bind. I do mostly watercolor paintings of pinups with vintage ads or WWII type backdrops. If you would like to help me by being a model for my paintings please post your 40's-50's pinup style photos (head and full body shots) in this post or in my journal along with your contact info (e-mail) or add me so that I can reach you if I use your photo, since you will need to fill out a model release form. I cannot afford to pay you because I am just a poor college student right now, but if I use you as a model I will send you pictures of the finished painting.If you know anyone else who might like to do this please direct them to this post, also if you have any questions please ask. | i wanna start a community for 1940's and 50's style pin-up girls... like real ones. like the girls can post pictures of themselves pin up style. but i need a co-mod and i need HTML help cos.. i suck. but i really wanna make this. i think itd be nifty. of course people would havta be 18 and up to join because kiddy porn is illegal but yeah... i think that itd be hot stuff.. so if you wanna help me lemme know.<3/ britt | |
