Work Placement

RGIT Australia has memorandums of understanding (MoU) with multiple reputed industry partners to provide its students with practical, real-life industry work placements to ensure that RGIT Australia students graduate job-ready.

We work closely with our industry partners to ensure that current industry trends and requirements are incorporated into our classroom and simulated environment learning curriculum.

Regular industry consultations ensure that RGIT Australia, together with its industry partners, can equip students and prepare them for work placements in a wide range of industries, such as business and IT, health, community services and childcare.

Message from the Chief Executive Officer

Over the past 16 years, RGIT Australia has been holding regular industry consultations to ensure RGIT Australia’s delivery of quality vocational education and training meets industry standards. Industry consultations enable us to provide students with relevant work placements to ensure that they are job ready after graduation.

As RGIT Australia continues to grow, and is approved to deliver more relevant, nationally recognised qualifications, the importance of creating progressive frameworks for all academic departments with work placement components is more paramount than ever.

Regular consultations, such as those held in June this year, have seen RGIT Australia, together with our valued industry partners, address the ever-evolving.

I can personally assure you that all feedback received is carefully considered within RGIT Australia’s review of training packages to ensure that they are appropriate for students’ employment and career enhancement needs of business, IT, hospitality, and health and childcare and community service industries.

I am immensely grateful to our valued industry partners, and their collaboration with RGIT Australia, in working towards the wellbeing and employability of our students.

Chandra Yonzon
Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Founder and Director

Work-Based Training (WBT)

Work-Based Training (WBT) is an essential component of many of RGIT Australia’s vocational education and training programs. It is designed to include work observation, work experience and other forms of workplace learning. WBT practical placements are designed to give students a chance to perform tasks relating to their course in an appropriate industry setting and ensure that the skills they are learning are transferable and can be demonstrated within a real industry work environment. Practical placements are structured workplace learning that is part of a written agreement between RGIT Australia as the training organisation and a host employer for vocational or further education courses or programs.

Benefits to Students

WBT provides students with the opportunity to:

Professional Experience Placements (PEP)

Professional Experience Placements (PEP) provides Diploma of Nursing students with clinical placements to compliment RGIT Australia’s classroom-based as well as simulated learning environments.
